Thanks Sandy & Terry!  We bought the internet card in Taiwan, it's very nice.  Terry uses i-Phone to check the direction, so Sandy can find us more easily at the Sheraton Miy Hotel.  How nice to meet Sandy she is studying at Osaka.  She was very keen to show us the downtown nearby our hotel.  It's very lucky to have Sandy to show us the downtown near 難波 & 心齋橋筋.







Sandy took us to take the subway to a city of 難波 where I saw a crowd of  restaurant serving delicious food.  Everything was fresh for Terry, he seemed enjoy the trip very much.

20121101TRAVEL TO OSAKA/JAPAN(FIRST DAY PART (1)



A sunny day, we set off to Osaka with Hansen & Terry.  This was first time for Terry going abroad.  He seems very happy and felt fresh on the trip. Terry was planning the trip before leaving for Osaka/Kyoto.  The trip is fabulous due to have Terry to accompany with us. Thanks Dad and Mom helped us to take care of our puppy - Q-John  We think Q-John will be very happy to have a holiday at Grandpa's house. Thanks Hansen & Terry, It is very happy to travel the Japan with you.




First time to take cheaper Airplane - Jetstar, no drinking, no food, no service






Take off time: 12:45a.m.  Arrive at: Osaka Kansai about: 3:45p.m.




We just arrived at the terminal 1 and had no idea how to take the bus to Uehonmachi. God guide us to meet a very nice lady - Yumi  She just said "Just follow us" I lived nearby Uehonmachi(上本町)




We took the bus at terminal 1 at 5:20p.m. and arrived at Kintetsu Uehonmachi about 6:20p.m.
It's chilly when we just arrive at Kintetsu Uehonmachi.  The average temperature is about 9 - 18C  Yumi is very kindness, she thought Terry might be hungry after long flight, Yumi took Terry to buy the bread at downtown. thanks a lot Yumi, you made us feel very warm when we just came to a strange place.










Hansen was trying to find someone to show us how to go to our hotel.  It's very cold, but the people is very friendly.  I took the chance to show around the Sheraton Miy Hotel Osaka.

京都日本旅遊 20121104 TRAVEL TO KYOTO FIRST DAY PART(2)




























































































They are opposite building 金閣寺 is gold building and it's very gorgeous.  But 銀閣寺 is not.  It's a woody brown building but elegant.  Japanese love 銀閣寺 but most foreigner love 金閣寺 cause it's gorgeous. 







金閣寺，正式名為鹿苑寺，是臨濟宗相國寺派的寺院。位於京都盆地西北相連的北山山腳，西面是衣笠山，背面為左大文字山的觀光聖地。鎌倉時代貴族的西園寺公經的別墅，在轉讓給室町幕府3代將軍足利義滿後，被建造為”北山殿”。原本是建造為山莊，義滿死後，被改建為寺。
金閣是柿葺，寶形構造的3曾舍利殿。最下層是藤原時代的寢殿構造的法水院，放置有足利義滿的像，第2層是武家構造的潮音洞，第3層是唐佛殿的究竟頂，第 2、3層都施有金箔。金閣周圍是廣闊的庭園，佇立在成為中心的鏡湖池北畔的金閣，分外優雅。進入瓦葺的總門，參觀了庫裡、方丈後，呈現在眼前的是隔著鏡湖 池而望的金閣，吸引了很多參觀者駐足觀望。

搭便車遊歐 20歲女半年跑遍12國

〔自由時報記者廖淑玲／雲林報導〕你能想像嗎？只帶了三百歐元（約台幣一萬兩千元），半年之間，搭便車旅遊歐洲十二個國家。


高三就曾搭便車環島


自幼就很獨立的蔡慧蓉，在高三畢業前休學搭便車環島並出書、當做是送給自己的成年禮。她的夢變大了，於是，她到澳洲打工度假一年，到東南亞待了半年，再用半年時間，以搭便車方式壯遊歐洲。


她手拿印有「搭便車教授」的名片，一路從巴黎到北歐，六個月跨越一萬五千公里、轉乘三百多輛便車，返台後寫成《搭便車，繼續歐洲》一書。今年二十歲的蔡慧蓉說，搭便車是藝術，也是緣份，因為等半小時搭上這輛車，或等一小時搭另一輛車，就是兩段截然不同的故事。


在歐洲旅行的好處是國家面積不大，隨時都在穿越國境，不用護照也沒人攔查，但語言不通怎麼辦？蔡慧蓉舉例說，在挪威北境淋了一小時雨終於攔到一輛車，車主會說德語、丹麥語，就是不會說英語，只會中、英文的她索性對著大叔說中文，加上肢體語言，竟然也能溝通，證明言語不通反而是最好玩的部分。


長期旅行經驗，慧蓉練就把陌生人變成朋友的能力。大多數車主對她這個大老遠跑到異鄉搭便車的小女子充滿好奇，常常車主目的地已到達，卻因為話題未完，願意繼續載她多跑一段路。


一次在愛爾蘭，因為聊得起勁，車主原本再十公里就可抵達的目的地，卻多開了二百六十公里只為載她一程；在挪威，遇到常滑雪的挪威機師，邀她「搭便機」，免費坐了有生以來第一趟直升機；她也曾搭上德國夫妻的便車，遇見人生第一場雪；在不容易搭便車的德國，為一個胖到無法自己剪腳指甲的男人剪腳指甲；在愛爾蘭參加一場連辦三天的瘋狂婚禮；走到歐洲最北端的北角和野生麋鹿爭道，巧遇一群台灣人，用台語交談時感動地掉淚。

能在高消費的歐洲旅行半年，慧蓉自行烹煮；睡帳篷、網友的沙發；交通就靠搭便車。從律師、醫生、警察、到流浪漢，形形色色的車主讓她滿心期待下一個出現的人。

2010 APR. 13 TRAVEL TO 日本東京之旅系列,靖國神社,千鳥ヶ淵 賞櫻 (4)
靖國神社的櫻花





























日本皇居春櫻報到天皇和皇后兩位陛下生活的皇宮就位於東京市中心，其中皇居外苑、皇宮東御花園、北之丸公園免費開放。




 




皇居附近一帶的賞櫻重點除了東御苑至千島淵（千鳥ヶ淵）交接點之間的千鳥淵綠道之外，還有靖國通至墓苑入口的「櫻並木」，以及千鳥淵交接點到半藏門交接點間的內崛通，此外，皇居對側北之丸公園的高堤上，也是櫻木茂密，連成一大片繽紛燦爛的花見天地。





千鳥淵道櫻花名勝護城河環繞四周，河水充盈，樹木林立，其中皇宮北邊相連的一塊綠地就是北之丸公園（北の丸公園），隔離皇宮與公園的護城河叫「千鳥淵」（千鳥ヶ淵），是東京最具特色的櫻花名勝，尤其在四月初時，櫻花盛開的強大陣勢吸引了大批賞花遊客，被稱為東京之最。

Kozu & Sahiko pick us up at Narita Airpot near 6:00 p.m.

 

 

 

It takes about 50 minutes from Narita Airport to Kashiwa-city.  We passed one city -我孫子市 Hansen said the meaning is "My grandson city" in Chinese, Sachiko said the meaning is same as in Japanese.  It's funny.

 

 

 

Enjoy the time at Morimura’s house, Sachiko has a lovely garden; cozy home with warm decoration.  Kozuhiko is very humorous. Jimmy is a lovely cat, he is 15 years old.  Sachiko and Kozo are very hospitality.  It is amazing to see the glass lamps that made by Sachiko.  Sachiko is  a very talented artist for making the gorgeous lamps.  She said two designs are from Tiffiny.   We enjoyed food at a traditional Japanese ShaibuShaibu

 

with Sachiko & Kozu.  The Sashmi were very fresh and the beef was cooked by shaibu shaibu.  The rice and noodle of Japan are very delicious. We had a happy and marvelous dinner with Sachiko & Kozu.
